Riding in the Rain!

How well do you trust your tires, bike and your abilities when riding in the rain.  Slippery When Wet? Once the rain washes the dirt and oil off the pavement, traction is the same as riding on a dry surface.  Standing water should be avoided to eliminate the chances of hydroplaning.

Bagger Racing!

Sport bikes aren’t the only ones that can have fun on the track!

Tires Tires Tires!

Chicken Strips!  What are they?  Chicken strips are the dirty strip on a tire from the edge of the tread to the clean area of the tire that doesn’t touch the road surface when cornering.  Are you brave enough to lean far enough to scrape your foot pegs or flatboards in a corner to remove the chicken strips? Different compounds in tire structure relates to traction and longevity of a tire. Soft tire creates more heat for more traction compared to a harder tire which runs cooler decreases traction but gives a longer tire life.
